In business, it is just as important to do the job well as it is to adapt to the evolution of the technologies that fall into our hands to make us more efficient. That is why today we want to share with you this post in which we list some of the most important trends on which the evolution of technology will revolve in the coming years. At\u00a0Esferize<\/a> we keep up to date with every step that is taken in this complex world in order to offer the best to our customers. And thus make innovation a truly differentiating tool for companies.<\/p>\n

Mobility<\/h3>\n

Companies are aware of the unstoppable advance of the BYOD phenomenon, where the user decides which device to use. Tablets and smartphones are beginning to occupy an important place in the corporate scenario. A significant fact: For the first time, searches on smartphones and tablets will surpass those on desktop devices in terms of audience and advertising investment.<\/p>\n

Internet of Things (IoT)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It continues to expand, driven by the availability of technologies and global communication coverage from operators. It is of interest to both businesses and consumers because in both cases it implies efficiency and savings. We will see appliances, sensors, cameras, transportation, clothing, etc. connected to the internet and other devices, such as computers and smartphones, along with new applications that will launch a new “economy of things”.<\/p>\n

Decentralised Collaborative Economy<\/h3>\n

As with P2P networks for music sharing, new sharing economy platforms will evolve towards more decentralised models, reaching over $115 million.<\/p>\n

Cloud<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Cloud computing is one of the few sectors whose contribution to Spanish GDP is growing year after year, based on its innate values: flexibility, scalability, dynamism, cost savings, ubiquity of applications and elasticity to demand. Telecom operators will need to add value to the cloud services market rather than simply reselling public cloud services. In the meantime, enterprises are showing a preference for adopting a hybrid public\/private cloud model.<\/p>\n

5G<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With 4G still being deployed,\u00a0at least in Spain<\/a>, network device manufacturers have already established a timetable for getting to work on 5G. Until the arrival of 2016, it is time for research, testing and prototyping. This will be followed by two years for the creation of the standard, another year for product development and, finally, deployment in 2020.<\/p>\n
